Mrs. Riley was born Dorothy Marie Riepl on Aug. 11, 1926, in Herndon to Joseph and Josephine (Pitner) Riepl. She was a retired clerk with Kline’s Department Store and Montgomery Ward of Salina.

Survivors include her husband, George, of the home; two sons, John Michael and Joseph Lee, both of Salina; a daughter, Jeanene M. Jaspers of Melbourne, Fla.; a sister, Mable Tongish of Amarillo, Texas; and two grandchildren, Robert Michael Jaspers of Las Vegas and Christopher Michael Riley of Salina.

A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, Salina, Father Kerry Ninemire officiating. Burial will be in All Saints Catholic Cemetery.

A vigil will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.

Memorials may be made to the church.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
