Mrs. Rundell was born March 19, 1920 in Hutchinson, the daughter of Walter E. Cornwell & the former Lena Overacre. She was a Pediatric Nurse at St. John's Hospital and Asbury Hospital for 26 years. She married Walter C. Rundell on Jan 18, 1942 in Hutchinson, Kansas. They lived in Bavaria, Kansas and Richmond, California while Walter served in the US Navy. She enjoyed roses and vegetable gardening and was a good seamstress, making her young children clothes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter C., on Feb. 23, 1981. and by a great granddaughter, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include a son, Rex E. Rundell, Wichita; three daughters, Harriett Nelson, Salina, Kenette Kraususki, Branson, Missouri, and Sharon Fisher, Fort Collins, Colorado; 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, Salina. Inurnment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.
