Mr. Weller was born Oct. 27, 1921, east of Kipp, the son of Clarence A. and Lillie (Jay) Weller. He farmed in the Kipp area for 60 years. He graduated from Kipp High School and was a member of American Legion Post 62, VFW Post 1432 and the former Kipp Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, George Weller, DeOrville Weller and Gordon Weller; and three sisters, Mildred Steele, Beulah Weller and Eudora "Babe" Finkle.

Survivors include his wife, Ila, of the home; two sons, Robert Jay Weller of Roxbury, and Thomas Patrick Weller and wife Colleen of Gypsum; two daughters, Charlene Marie Crowley and husband Tim of Glendale, Ariz., and Susan Kay Corkrey and husband Joe of Kipp; a sister-in-law, Edna Weller of Salina; 10 grandchildren, Jay Crumpton and wife Kathy, Stacy Norris and husband Kurt, Jessica and Hillary Weller, Sarah and Kimberly Crowley, Chris, Alex and Jim Weller and Lara Corkrey; four great-grandchildren, Lexy, Kaylyn, Jaycee and Kensey Norris; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to Kipp Presbyterian Church Scholarship Fund at Southeast of Saline High School or Mount Pleasant Church.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
