Robert R. “Bob” Aills, 55, Salina, died July 23, 2008 in Wichita, KS. He was born Sept. 21, 1952 in Wamego. Bob was twice Past Commander of Salina V.F.W. Post #1432 and a Vietnam War Army Veteran serving in Phuloi, Vietnam. He was a member of the Ray Ave Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Lester R. Aills, a brother, Lester Lee Aills, and a sister, Carla Jean Aills. He is survived by his wife, Emma, of the home, his mother, Betty Kolde, Salina, his son, Jacob Lester Aills, Salina, his daughter, Victoria Elizabeth Aills, Salina, his sister, Connie J. Wilson, Salina, and grandchildren, Gavin Robert Aills, Mikaylee Erin Aills, and Garrett Carson Aills. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Monday July 28, 2008 at the Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park with military honors provided by the U.S. Army, Ft. Riley. Memorials are suggested to the family to assist with funeral expenses. |
