J. Elaine McPherson Armstrong, 92, Wamego, died Feb. 6, 2008. She was born October 4, 1915 to EE and Gladys (Wiley) McPherson in Bartlett, KS. She married her high school sweetheart, Hugh Armstrong on December 24, 1933. They had four children born to them: Marlene (Don) Richardson, Huann (Bill) Braden, Nancy Persinger and Bryan (Claudia) Armstrong. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a private graveside service in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Memorials may be made to a Hospice Organization of the donor’s choice in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th, Salina 67401.
