James A. Gross, 64, of Salina, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008. He was born the son of Carl and Mary (Gleason) Gross, April 14, 1944, in Salina. He worked as Draftsman, Engineer, Structural Inspector and Building Inspector for the Development Services Department of the City Of Salina. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Sonny, one sister, Carlene Lamer, and his father-in-law, Dr. Frederick A. Gans. Survivors include his wife, Tina Gross of Salina; two daughters, Melissa DeMars of Solomon, and Jennifer Gross of Salina; two sons, Thomas Neill of Kingman, AZ, and Richard Neill of Wickenburg, AZ; two brothers, Dean Gross & wife Jan of Salina, and Bob Gross & wife Carol of Salina; six grandchildren, Mason, Aaron, Hadley, Haden, Jacob, and Michael. A Celebration Of Life will be held from 4 to 9 P.M. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at the Walker cabin at the south pond on Hedville Road. Memorial contributions may be given to The Homebuilders Scholarship Fund, or, The Saline County Animan Shelter. There will be no visitation. Cremation was chosen. Ryan Mortuary, Salina, is in charge of arrangements. |
