Laura J. Hoskins, 56, Salina, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008. She was born Feb. 16, 1951, in Kansas City, MO, to Gene and Theresa Hendricks. Laura grew up and attended school in Roeland Park, KS. She was a graduate of Marymount College. She worked as a case worker for Social Rehabilitative Services and was a counselor for Kansas Vocational Rehabilitation Center, Salina. Survivors include her husband, Pat Hoskins, of Salina; two sons, Jake and Sam Hoskins, both of Salina; a brother, Mark Hendricks and wife Eileen of Overland Park, KS; and a sister, Martha Hendricks of St. Joseph, MO. A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina, and inurnment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Salina. A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Salina or Ben Breault Babe Ruth Baseball Fund. There is no visitation. Laura’s body was cremated. |
