Jo Jean Johnson, 75, Salina, died Monday, April 7, 2008. She was born Jo Jean Easter on December 5, 1932, in McPherson, KS. She was member of Mount Zion Church, Salina. Jo Jean worked as a cook for the Union Station Cafe, Salina, the Martin Luther King Day Care Center, Salina, and the Ellsworth Prison. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rollin J. Anderson, in 1964.Survivors include, two sons, Jerry Anderson and wife Micki and Jon Anderson, all of Salina; a daughter, Joni Parsons of Olathe; a brother, Jack Easter of McPherson; a sister, Ginger Smith of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, Josh and wife Angie, Joel and Jordan; and three great-grandchildren; Breanna, Kelsey and Trenton. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Mount Zion Church, Salina. Inurnment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Lindsborg. There will be no visitation. Cremation was chosen. Memorial contributions may be given to the Mount Zion Church, 1004 N. Santa Fe, Salina. Ryan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. |
