Mr. Kresge was born March 31, 1951, in Salina. He was a material handler for Great Plains Manufacturing, Salina.

He was preceded in death by a son, Travis A., in 2006; and his father, Spering S. Kresge.

Survivors include his wife, Martha, of the home; a daughter, Sarah Kresge, of the home; three brothers, Spering S. Jr. of DeRidder, La., and James L. and William D., both of Topeka; a sister, Marsha C. Mamdani of Omaha, Neb.; and his mother, Christina Kresge, of Salina.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Salina. Inurnment will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the church or Hospice of Salina.

There will be no visitation.
