Mr. Morris was born Aug. 17, 1972, in Oregon. He was a cook at several local restaurants.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia, in 2006.

Survivors include a brother, David of Oregon; his stepfather, Gary Rogers, of Salina; and his father, William Morris, of Oregon.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bel Aire Southern Baptist Church, Salina.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
