Mr. Searcy was born January 4, 1954, at Minot, ND. He was a welder and shop foreman for South Industrial Sheet Metal in Salina until his death.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy (White) Searcy, of the home.; three daughters, Leesa and husband David Rush of Beverly, KS, Tessa Henry of Salina, KS, and Nicole Searcy and fiancé Kevin Grennan of Salina; his mother, Lucille Searcy, of Glenwood, MN; six brothers, Jerry and wife Rose of Waite Park, MN, Arnie and wife Renate of Clearwater, MN, Randy and wife Barb of Lakeville, MN, Hal of Fargo, ND, Tom and wife Debbie of New Cambria, KS, and Virgil of Salina, KS; one sister, Linda Kringler of Fargo, ND; seven grandchildren, James and Elizabeth Henry and Elyza Searcy, all of Salina, and twins Samantha and Allison Rush and Ethan and Nicolas Rush, all of Beverly, KS; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at New Community Christian Church, Roach and Cloud St. Salina, the Rev. Dave Henry officiating. Inurnment will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Roger Searcy Memorial Fund, in care of the family. Ryan Mortuary, 137 North Eighth St. Salina, is in charge of arrangements.
