John W. Snedker, 85, Salina, died Monday, February 18, 2008. He was born Jan. 10, 1923, at Stafford. He married Dorothy Alkire on Oct. 19, 1941 at Salina. He was the owner of Electrical Equipment Company, Salina, for 38 years. He retired in 1988. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Isis Shrine and First Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, in 2000. Survivors include a son, Harold and wife Ann of Salina; a brother, Wayne of Alton; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the Isis Shrine. |
