He was the owner and operator of Larry’s Flag Car Service out of Grove, OK.

Mr. Utley was born April 9, 1948, in Salina, KS, to Alvin Utley and Betty (Burton) Utley. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gary D. Utley; and a sister, Sondra Tower.

Larry is survived by his wife, Sandy, of Grove: a daughter, Heidi Rouse and husband Ron; a son, Gary Utley and wife Brooke; six grandchildren, Andy, Matt and Shelby Rouse, and Scott, Justin and Devin Berry, all of Salina; two brothers, Bob and wife Colleen of Bellevue, NE, and his twin brother, Jerry and wife Sue of Grove, OK; a sister, Dixie Tower and husband John of Abilene, KS; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday February 23, 2008, at Ryan Mortuary, the Rev. Kevin Putman officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family receiving from 6 to 8.
