She is preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Hamme; a niece, Lori Wallace; and a great niece, Brittany Wallace.

Brenda is survived by her two daughters, Jill and Stan Thornton, of Hiawatha, and Kendra and Mike Sutton, of Salina; five grandchildren, Kelsie, Olivia and Gabriel Corbett, of Hiawatha, and Levi and Mykayle Sutton, of Salina; brothers, Freddie (Linda) York, Eddie (Diane) York, Ronnie (Carolyn) York, and Ricki (Vicki) York, all of Texas; and sisters, Kathy (Larry) Forrester, of Wichita, and Becky Williams, of Texas.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, at Ryan Mortuary, of Salina. Visitation will be today from noon to 7 p.m., with a vigil service at 6 p.m. today at the mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the family, in care of the mortuary.
