Lucile Hayman Ryberg
March 31, 1913 - March 30, 2009

Lucile Hayman Ryberg, 95, of Salina, died Monday, March 30, 2009. She was born the daughter of Harry and Emma (Bales) Hayman, March 31, 1913, in Formoso. She was a music teacher to several generations in Salina, Minneapolis, Gypsum, Assaria, Delphos and Brookville. She was a dedicated supporter of the arts in Salina, especially the Salina Symphony and the Salina Community Theater. She was member of First Presbyterian Church, P.E.O., Kappa, Kappa, Iota, the K.M.E.A. and the K.N.E.A.

Lucile was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 64 years, Paul Ryberg.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Jr., of Boonsboro, MD, and Jan, of Arlington, TX; a daughter, Sonja, of Dallas, TX; a brother, Donald Bales Hayman, of Chapel Hill, NC; four grandchildren, Renee, Paul Michael, Eric and Cole.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, Salina. Private burial is in Roselawn Cemetery, Salina. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth Street, Salina 67401, where the family will greet visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial gifts are to the Salina Symphony Guild or the Salina Community Theater.
