BEVERLY — Emma Jean Sparks, 72, Beverly, died Friday, March 20, 2009. She was born June 22, 1936, in Kansas City, Mo. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Sparks was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, in 2006. She is survived by her two sons, Robert Bohlen, of Panama City, Fla., and Jeffery Preston, of Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Jean Prim, of Beverly, and Mary Sue Monahan, of Seattle; two brothers, Ernest Rodgers and Henry P. Malone; three sisters, Georgia Williams, Mary Cooper and Charlotte Weber; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the graveside in the Beverly Cemetery. There will be no visistation.
