He retired from Hawker Beechcraft in Salina after 40 years and had worked in many areas of the plant.

Stan loved to golf and bowl. He enjoyed his time in the summer gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Mary E. Moore, in 2004.

He is survived by his wife, Angela “Angie,” of the home; five brothers, John, of Salina, Paul, of Conyers, Ga., Joseph, of Wichita, Peter, of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Robert, of Wyoming, Mich.; a sister, Pauline Rodriguez, of Salina; three aunts, Clodia Camarena, of Haywood, Calif., DiAnn Torrez, of San Jose, Calif., and Margaret Cowen, of San Francisco; and two uncles, Fr. Basil Torrez, of Collyer, and Joseph Torrez, of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 6, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Ninth and Iron Ave., Salina 67401, with Father Allen Scheer celebrant. Burial will be in All Saints Catholic Cemetery on East Crawford, Salina.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401, with a vigil and rosary service at 7 p.m.
