Alma Jean Gray, 92, of Salina, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2010. She was born Feb. 19, 1918, in Sterling, the daughter of John Mac and Nona Clarissa (Bressler) Frederick. Alma Jean was a homemaker, very active in her church and an avid bridge player. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lauren V. Gray, in 1981; and four brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Gillespie and spouse Russell, of St. George; and two sons, Joe Gray and spouse Betty and Fred Gray, all of Salina. Alma Jean has five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at First United Methodist Church, Salina, with burial in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 3, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Memorial contributions are suggested to Kaye Pogue Hospice of Salina. |
