She was a homemaker and had also owned and operated the Johnson Liquor Store in Salina for 13 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Max C. Johnson, in 2000.

She is survived by a son, Ron Johnson, of Howard, Kan.; a daughter, Ruth Stemler and husband David, of Westminster; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401, with a vigil and rosary recited at 6 p.m.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Ninth and Iron Ave., Salina 67401, with Father Allen Scheer celebrant, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery, Solomon, Kan.
