Bode was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Wolfe, in 2009. Survivors include his parents, Matthew and Gretchen, of Osawatomie; grandparents, Jim and Joan Usher, of Salina, and Sharon Wolfe, of Salina; uncle, Preston Usher, of Salina; and two aunts, Charity Glass and Julie Wolfe, both of Martinsville, Va.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Ryan Mortuary, where the family will greet visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service for Bode will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at First Baptist Church, Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Bode James Wolfe Memorial Fund.
